1. Who We Are
This website is operated by MGP Partners SA, a company registered in the Swiss Commercial Register under UID CHE-160.257.738, with registered office at a Piazzöla 7, 6839 Sagno, Ticino, Switzerland, operating under the name Nomera (“Nomera”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website. For any privacy matter you can reach us at info@nomera.ch.
Nomera is a technology venture building digital provenance infrastructure for high-value luxury assets. This policy covers only the personal data we process through this website. Our product and platform are not yet live, and no asset, ownership, or customer platform data is processed through this site.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data in two ways.
Data you submit. When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, company or brand name, and the content of your message.
Technical data collected automatically. When you visit this website, our hosting and email infrastructure process limited technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, including your IP address, browser and device information, and timestamps of requests. This data is generated in server logs as a normal part of operating a website.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
To respond to your inquiry and to take steps at your request before any potential engagement, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective partners and, where relevant, on the performance of pre-contractual steps.
To operate and secure the website, we rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a functional and secure service.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide solely to read and respond to your inquiry. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, advertising, or automated decision-making. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
5. Data Retention
We keep inquiry data only for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and in any case no longer than twelve months from your last contact, after which we routinely delete it. Copies held in encrypted backups are removed on a rolling cycle as those backups expire. Technical server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or anonymized. If you ask us to delete your data earlier, we will do so without undue delay, subject to any legal retention obligation.
6. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your data or share it for any third party’s own purposes. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and under contract, acting only as processors:
- Email delivery: Resend, which transmits and logs the messages sent through our contact form.
- Website hosting: Vercel, which hosts the site and processes technical data such as IP addresses and server logs, including for Vercel Web Analytics.
These providers process personal data only to provide their service to us and are bound by data processing terms consistent with applicable law.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, we rely on recognized transfer safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the Swiss addendum, and on providers that participate in applicable data transfer frameworks. You may contact us for further detail on the safeguards in place.
8. Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. We do not set advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. The analytics we use (see Section 9) is cookieless. Because only essential cookies are used, no consent banner is presented. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where the law requires it.
9. Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate website usage, such as page views and general traffic patterns. This tool is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. It collects anonymized, aggregate data only. We do not use third party advertising or behavioral tracking.
10. How We Protect Your Data
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS), restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and the use of reputable providers that maintain recognized security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and the FADP, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, to request deletion, to object to or restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@nomera.ch. We will respond within one month, as required by law.
12. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- In Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.
- In the European Economic Area: the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown below.
14. Contact
